Usually, it’s rude to ask someone how old they are. But in this case, we couldn’t be prouder of our old age. We’re 122 and we feel 25.
It’s been an honor to serve our corner of Wisconsin for well over a century. Everything we’ve done, from installing the area’s first telephone service in 1901 to providing the best internet available in 2023, has been done for our community. We are guided by the principle that when our small towns thrive, we all thrive. So, we’re in this for the long haul.
What we’ve been up to in our 12th decade:
- Tilden and Eagle Point: We are wrapping up our construction phase in Tilden and Eagle Point, and oh boy have we been busy. We have buried 90 miles of fiber and invested $610,000 company dollars. We also have relentlessly applied for grants. This year, we employed $1.1 million in grants for the Tilden and Eagle Point area.
- Colfax: In this area, we have buried 116 miles of fiber and have personally invested $1.9 million and used $1.5 million grant dollars.
- Seymour and Hallie: Construction is ongoing in this area, but we plan to make it one of our first expansion areas where customers can get 2.5 Gig when signing up for service.
Your support of our service means everything. Because of you, we’ve been able to increase the number of scholarships we provide for local students, up the number of dollars donated to the Bloomer/New Auburn Food Pantry, and expand our service to more friends and neighbors. You make this community thrive, and we’re excited to partner with you for 122 more years.
