Oh deer, it’s Christmas Eve Eve, the countdown is down to 2 days, and we haven’t even told you our favorite Bloomer traditions. And goodness flakes, yule be sorry if you don’t read them!

Ben loves trimming the Christmas tree with decorations you’ll never fir-get, and driving around to look at Christmas lights while drinking hot chocolate. Christmas Eve is always spent at church.

Travis is pine with a simple Christmas and enjoys getting together and seeing family. It’s impossibell not to feel the Christmas spirit.

Christmas lights are snow joke for Robyn’s family, who love driving around on light hunts. Can we get a watt watt?! They also like to bake cookies with family and listen to Christmas music. On Christmas Day, they always go to Grandma Boos’.

Gathering with family and friends on Christmas Eve to bake Santa’s cookies in their Christmas jammies is Shelly’s tradition! Treat yo’elf!

For Kent, Christmas Eve is set aside for opening presents and the day always wraps up at Mass. Christmas Day is full of stocking stuffers and a fondue buffet! So santamental.

But we couldn’t just stop with our lovely Bloomer employtrees. Take a look at what your fellow Wisconsinites do every year. Only a Cheesehead would have these wacky traditions, and it takes one to snow one.

  • Hiding a pickle ornament in the tree. Because nothing screams Christmas quite like a pickle.
  • Making steak tartare *cannibal* sandwiches.
  • Jumping into Lake Michigan for the Polar Bear Plunge. They came, they thawed, they conquered!
  • Call it the Santa Rampage, the Cycling Santas, or the Fat Tire Santa Ride, we love an excuse to bike around on Christmas day before going to grab a beer.

Be honest, how many of these do you do? Remember, Santa will know if you lie!

Well Bloomer, that’s it! And now, please give yours-elf a round of Santa-plause if you caught all the Christmas puns. Grand total is . . . 16.

Wishing elf and safety to everyone this season.

Ok,  17.

Merry, merry Christmas.
