Don’t Let Holiday Viruses Infect Your Network

With holiday guests arriving, protect your home network from viruses and other threats by setting up a guest network via the CommandIQ app*.

Why is this important?

You probably don’t have access to all the laptops and mobile phones that visitors bring into your house, nor what viruses these devices may contain.

Creating a guest network allows your visitors to connect to the internet without risking them accidentally spreading any viruses or malware to your main network and devices.

Here’s how:

1. Tap “My Network” from the dashboard
2. Tap the “+” button in the upper right to create a new Wi-Fi network
3. Enter a Network Name for your guest network
4. Select a Security Type and enter a Wi-Fi password
5. Set Guest Network Duration
   a. Select “Endless” to keep your guest network available at all times
   b. Select “Custom” if you want to enable the network for a specific start and end date and time
6. Tap “Save” then “OK” to create your new guest network
7. Tap “Share” to share the Wi-Fi credential with your guests
